My first (stupid?) Homevision Question

Ok folks,

I've managed to get my Homevision up and running ok... and I'm starting to
love the 'tv' interface - I've actually got it connected to a rocketport
Serial Hub so it's in the livingroom but I can use the serial port from the
'computer room'  - It all works ok... except of course that the HV
application doesn't quite work on Teminal Server 4.0..

Anyhow onto my first (stupid?) question......

What I'm trying to do is this

Accept IR input code
Display countdown timer on TV 00:05:00 (updating)
When @ 00:00:00 execute a macro

the bit I don't understand is how to get an updating countdown timer of the
screen?

any clues?
