In an attempt to relieve the boredom yesterday, I have installed a
multi-user online game of Risk on one of our servers. This is my first
attempt at getting some online multiuser games up and running for fun. I
was looking for Diplomacy but Risk will do for now!

As I don't currently know how to play Risk proficiently, would anyone be
prepared to test the game out please? Up to 6 players (plus some
"observers") are allowed for each game.

To play the game, the following software are required:

1. Java Runtime Environment (http://java.sun.com/j2se/)

2. Java TEG client (http://jteg.sourceforge.net/)

Once the Java runtime environment is installed, start the jteg-0.5.0.jar
file. On the initial log-in screen, enter the following:

1. Select mode of operation (Observer or Player).

2. Server name is jade.laser.com.

3. Server port is 2000.

4. Name is the name you like to be known as.

Click on OK button. The program will connect to the server. If successful,
the colour selection screen will be presented. Just pick an available
colour and click OK.

Please don't click "Start" yet. I'll try and start the game
centrally.

Unfortunately, no help is available from the "Help" menu!
