You'd
need a bloody long bit on James Hoye's SDS drill though wouldn't
ya?
See
though ... aren't you now glad that you went out and bought the split AC?
We've
been using ours to supplement the heating downstairs. (A previous owner
removed
a couple of radiators from the living room leaving some woefully inadequate
provision!)

I
would SERIOUSLY upset the council if I installed Geothermal.
No
yard or garden so I would have to dig the road up to lay the pipes
:-)
Keith
(Seriously impressed by the heat I can get out of the Aircon in
heating
mode despite it being below freezing outside. Raised the bedroom by 4
degrees
in under 30 minutes. 17 to 21. Not bad for about 4 pence worth of
electricity!)
Geothermal has to be the way to go....
Phil
Hmmmmm....dunno if I'd fit UFH again to be
honest. Very slow response time and seem hideously expensive to run
- despite supposedly being more efficient.

Ta. That makes sense.
Mark (who would do a
self-build just for the sake of having u/f heating!)

Should that, in fact, read:
Yes.

to
As Keith has already pointed out - HV is not controlling my
heating as such, it's merely replacing the timer clock
function. As far as I know the pump does stop if all the
underfloor zone valves are
closed.
