Never heard of that one !!!

They should run vertically within about 4 inches of a socket/switch so
people know where they are likely to be.

No doubt James "I sleep with a copy of the IEE Regs under my

will provide the true wording from the 16th Edition :-)

I know with mains cables they have to
run up the walls within so many inches of the corners of the rooms,
does this only apply to mains or all types of cable ?
