Basically a sales person let it slip!
5 times I asked them and was told the high speed! then when arguing about
the CID she told me "oh no, you are on the 56K connection!"
I did have a url that could test the speed but never tried it and now
cannot
find it again!

How did you find out?? Mine seems to have slowed somewhat recently, be good
to know how to test it.
