Paul, One thing to note is that NTL is made up from Original NTL
franchise and ex-CWC. I think ex CWC had caller ID available but
Original NTL (I'm CableTel) did not have CID. So both answers are
correct.

I KNOW that someone replied to me about a fortnight ago to say that

meteor worked OK on a NTL line, but NTL customer services have just told

that they categorically do not, and never have had caller ID on any of

telephone services!!!
Quite obviously, someone is giving me duff info, and my money is on it
being
NTL!!
If anyone here has their telephone service provided by NTL and has
caller-ID
(or ever have had), please can you let me know asap!
