Hi folks,
As we all know, the best thing about Christmas shopping is buying things
for
yourself in the middle of spending for others :-)
So, to that end, I'm treating myself to a learning remote. However, my
question is, which and why? The Pronto seems to be the most popular
choice
but what does that have over the Marantz ? I can stretch to the Marantz's
price (and therefore the 2MB Pronto) but do I need the extra memory both
provide, bearing in mind I'm going to want to control a TV, video, DVD
& amp
and X10 stuff in the future. Are there any other viable units around?
If I only had the cash for the colour Pronto, these questions wouldn't
arise
:-)
Oh, and my amp and DVD are champagne so the Marantz would look nice, but
it's not a huge concern.
Any thoughts appreciated
