I'm miffed because when I asked Edward what he wanted for Christmas
(carefully guiding him towards the Scalextric isle at Toys R Us) he said
that he wanted a toy kitchen...

:-(

....his mother has had too much influence on him over the years it seems.

Oh yeah ... Contrary to popular opinion I actually have few
"toys" that
got discarded after a couple of months. In fact the only ones that I can
think of are:

1) USB CF/SM reader - Connecting the camera direct to the laptop under
WinXP is just as fast and requires less "boxes" humped about.

2) Graphics tablet - Actually bought for Edward to try to get him into
using the computer! Have never connected it up.

3) MS Force Feedback steering wheel - Bought for me as a Christmas
present two years ago, I don't use the PC to play games!
