If you use shielded Cat5 for the HomeVision Temp sensors you can gat into
problems with the cable
Capacity increases I think is the main cause

A friend of a friend runs a cable company in Basingstoke and he reckons
that using shielded cable without the accompanying hardware actually
*REDUCES* the effectiveness of the network as the shielding on the
cables - unless correctly terminated - as the shielding alters the
electrical characteristics of the cable. (So I'm told.)
