OK, embedded adverts for unrelated products (e.g. lipstick) I could
just about live with.
The latest yahoo wheez for web readers of the list is an
intermission. A single, dominant ad, presented with a "click to read
the next item" link.
Yes, I'm grateful to Yahoo for subsidising the existence of this
list. But I think there are boundaries. If this policy persists, and
there is significant opposition to the imposition, maybe the list
should look for less commercial bandwidth? I'd be pleased to
contribute to (maybe even subsidise entirely) the effort...
