It's gonna arrive too late for tomorrows "planned" power outage by the 'leccy co. - we go off at 9:30 with no turning on time "however it is hoped that supplies will be resumed before 5:30pm"...
 
...the letter arrived yesterday so we have two days notice of an 8 hour power outage for two entire streets! Seems I need a big UPS and a gennie to live round here...

Nah, 'orid, if these are like BT use with the curly wire at each end they are very effective...but still ugly!
