I don't know how many of you read the group in HTML-format email. Those
of you that do, will get an ad at the bottom of the message, which is
"random" - Normally very irritating.

Today's however, was quite amusing. The ad read "free custom lipstick
with every purchase".

Given the nature of Dave's message, I was struck by the proximity. What
bizarre, otherworldly marketing department would come up with the
concept of a CAT5 cable tester, with free lipstick? Who would purchase
such a product? Is it aimed at a single buyer? Is it instead a "his
and
hers gifts" offer?

Hi All,

For all those into wiring their homes with miles of CAT5 cable, this is
the perfect device you have been looking for.

I saw this in Elektor Electronics this month. This looks like a great
tool for testing CAT5 cables.
