Sounds a great idea Paul – specially for all those lucky people with cable/adsl.  Sounds quite ACE-like as well in that it’s the “glue” between two systems.

Now I know you could say why use IM when you could just use the Homeseer web
interface, but personally, I think this would be pretty cool! - any
