The problem here is that this is a mixed bag.

Lutron (and I guess LiteTouch) are essentially lighting control systems
JDS is a whole house automation controller
EIB is a bus technology protocol

The only one on that list that is a programmable, versatile controller is
the JDS.

I’m building now a new house and want it to be “smart” one - which
system to buy: Lutron, LiteTouch, JDS or Instabus/EIB? I’m a programmer
and want to “play” with the system’s software by myself - which is the
best from this point of view? Where can I find a comparison between all
these four? Is there another system which is better then all these four?
