Yes ... The screw holes line up perfectly with all of the wall boxes
I've tried which are a 47mm deep surface box, a 35mm deep dry lining box
and a 47mm deep metal backbox. You need 35mm for the unit to mount with
about 5mm behind it.

25mm backboxes can be used with the backs cut out...

In so far as you need a neutral then yes ... It is physically
compatible.
