were to use his wireless network to listen to remote MP3s, I can't

this.

The only _current_ application that comes to mind
is
high-bandwidth
networking.
I've ripped some of my DVDs onto hard
disk for ease of replay. I can
play them back on their "own" PC, or over
a
100Mb/sec network, but over
a 10Mb/sec - no chance.
To be fair, I
_don't_ play them back over the network anymore - since a
KAT5 receiver
is
a more discrete box to have in the bedroom than a spare
PC :-)
In
fact, the more I think about it, the more I want lots more KAT5
pairs,
or
maybe I'll just wait for the switch ;-)
