Hi,
You could also consider the 3-ware range of cards. Whilst they've stopped
supplying them in the US they are continuing to supply in Europe and the
US.
I'm using an 8 channel one to provie ~0.5TB of RAID5 storage which is
heavily used, so far no complaints or problems.
