OT is not recognised here.............

I like Adaptec cards but have heard good things from Promise as well. Here
are a couple of choices I found after a quick search.

Adaptec details from Insight (www.insight.com/uk)
ADBA0226A ata-2400a/ata 100-66 32mb raid adaptor - kit, mfg's part # ATA
RAID 2400A, ?248.99 / ?292.56

The promise details were from a US site so you will have to do a little
more
searching there.
Promise Technology SuperTrak100 Hot Swap ATA/100 RAID Level 5 Kit

The promise one is 6 channel and the Adaptec one 4 which I think is the
number of supported drives.
