Actually, it reminded me to mention that in the Homebase rush a few months
ago, one thing I picked up in the store that closed down was an exterior
lux
sensor, mounted in a standard UK size 1-gang plastic box with a white
translucent front cover. I plan to open it up & mount the DS1820 in
there as
well, so I'll have a nice combined external temperature and light sensor in
1 purpose designed box. I'll mount it near the top of the house, just under
the overhang from the eaves, so It will be protected from direct rain and
direct sun, but hopefully should give pretty good readings of the
conditions
outside....
