I have something in place which uses HV and a TX-15 but the principal could
be modified. Essentially in my system the heating is on all the time but
the
thermostat is switched off any time I don't want the heating on. This could
be done with a relay or maybe an appliance module. Careful though as
thermostats have mains voltages present.

Essentially I emulate the thermostat reaching its set temp to shut off the
heating.

If this might work for you I will give it a little more thought and come up
with some ideas. To automate it you would need a CM12 or whatever the
number
is - standalone controller with basic timing functions etc.
