"Screeners" "Cams" etc mostly suck.
The new generation of DIVX DVD Rips are superb
though! 5 gig squeezed into 700
meg
yet they still look and sound excellent. With a suitable equiped PC
with
TV Out and some KAT5 modules you can even feed this stuff to your home
cinema
system. The MP3 audio preserves the pro-logic surround
too.
Obviously if you have a nice HC setup you'll
really
want the DVD though.

That doesn't surprise me a bit. I hope you didn't pay
much.
I've seen a few movies that were downloaded from the net just
after they appeared in the cinema and they were very poor quality.
That's
basically because they were videoed in a cinema. Some had oriental
subtitles and you sometimes saw people moving around. I suspect the
files had been taken from pirate VCDs in China or somewhere
similar.
I've even seen a file with Harry Potter, but it's barely
watchable.
Really you should report whoever was selling these films,
if
just to stop others getting ripped off.
