That doesn't surprise me a bit. I hope you didn't pay much.

I've seen a few movies that were downloaded from the net just after
they appeared in the cinema and they were very poor quality. That's
basically because they were videoed in a cinema. Some had oriental
subtitles and you sometimes saw people moving around. I suspect the
files had been taken from pirate VCDs in China or somewhere similar.

I've even seen a file with Harry Potter, but it's barely watchable.

Really you should report whoever was selling these films, if just to
stop others getting ripped off.
