Further to last nights efforts, tonight I discovered that I had allocated
an
IP address to the modem that wasn't on the same network, so no wonder it
wouldn't route!
So, there you have it....using the STB connected via PBX to a W2K Server
running RRAS, I can now surf the WWW from my TV using ADSL for free (though
only at 33k6).
For ?19.99, it is, ladies and gentlemen, a bargain.
The second STB arrived today, too, and as I have a couple of spare PBX
ports, I'll stick that one in the bedroom. I've got a second modem that I
can put in the server, so that both can be connected at the same time.
