Is it possible to run USB over Cat5?

Or to put it another way, I would like to put a webcam outside, and cut the
cable, extend it with Cat5 and then plug the other end into the pc.

Is this possible, or is there a limitation to how far USB can travel?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Daniel
