It links my Psion onto the Lan at work, to enable me to then surf the web on my psion or pick up mail. (It uses the TCP/IP address and setting of the PC to surf the web, and it assigns the Psion its own IP address).

Ah ok, I thought I had seen that it had a serial port - Sorry!

Thanks Daniel.....

This isn't quite what I was thinking of..... this program uses a serial link to a device (Psion in your case) and routes that out through another device on the PC (a modem in this case)...... what we need to do for the Bush box, since it has a modem but not (currently,  unless someone's been busy with a soldering iron!) a serial port..... so we want to connect the Bush modem, to another modem so that it thinks the PC is an ISP..... IP traffic can then be routed over the internal network and out through the gateway machine (my box with ADSL USB router) onto the internet.

Cheers

Hi all

I have been following this Bush Internet box thread....

Anyhow I see you are looking for ways to connect this to your pc's

I use a piece of software for my Psion called DS Link, this software sits on the PC, and I have a modem configured on the Psion that allows it to connect to the Web, using the connection available on the PC.

Further information on this can be found here:

I hope this is of some use to you all.
