I'm after one or two mid-range (but upgradeable) machines for home, and
am considering Micro ATX of some sort.

I *think* what I'm after first of all is a stylish (as defined by my
wife :-) Micro ATX case with a good quality quiet PSU. I'm tempted to
then throw in an Asus mobo (A7VL-VM?) with onboard sound (and maybe
LAN) with an AGP slot, fit a mid-range (800MHz tops) Duron, 256M of
dirt cheap SDRAM, floppy, and decide on keyboard, mouse, etc., later.

I have a suitable AGP video card already, an old 2 gig disk that'll be
just fine for daughter, and a suitable CD-ROM drive. Hell, this thing
might be so cheap that I could afford an LCD monitor to go with it!

Any suggestions for neat cases, suitable mobos, and anything else I
might have forgotten?

Regards
