Sounds ok to me. But I haven't a camera with six core cable like you -
all mine have 4 cores to the RJxx, and six cores from RJxx to Scart.

I think it'll work as you describe. If you're really nervous, open
the camera head (the top bit) - that should clarify the sitation - as
long as you get the power connections ok, everything else should fall
in place by process of elimination.
