You just have to live with it or change your kit.

My old ProSound Pro-Logic decoder used to pick up X10 IR commands. If I
went
to dim the lights the Surround Sound processor would switch off :-(

ProSound remote didnt affect the IR543 though.

There are only so many combinations of codes that exist and sooner or later
you end up with an unintentional clash.

Hi,

I've just got a nice new Philips HiFi, MC70, all works great, even has an
aux input when I get round to MP3 Playback, heres the problem.

Using the Samsung TV remote, turns the MC70 on into Tuner Mode, using the
Akai video remote does similar, or pressing stop, allows me to change the
bass setting on the HiFi.

I'm asumming that different manufacturers use similar codes to the
Philips. The Philips remote has no effect on either the TV or video, any
suggestions on solving this, or do I just have to live with it ?

Thanks

Stuart
