I just connected a phone output to a phono input with phono leads. Silly
me.
:-)  I realised my mistake when the speaker cones nearly hit the opposite
wall. :-)

My only spare input is "tape" and a special button needs to be
pressed to do
tape monitoring. Sadly I can't then use the "tape" output to feed
the second
amp as obviously this output if before the tape input!
