I have been doing some wiring but not for the
DDAR's. The beauty of having a cellar is that when the DDAR arrives i just
need
to drill a hole behind the TV (probably already one there) and stick the
network
cable thru' it. Connect the DDAR to the amp under TV - jobs
done.
Eager to play with DDAR. It's better than
getting
socks at Christmas!
Spend the time running the right cables to the right places. I
spent a happy day getting ethernet+speaker+power+audio to a nice place
on
a shelf that takes the DDAR just fine. But involved drilling a two foot
long hole through a solid chimney breast, getting some 2-mm conduit
through the bottom of a cupboard and then through the floorboards, and
then crawling around under the floor with loads of cables.
But
now
it's complete there are no cables in site and I can also feed the
DDAR's
output into the main amp in the sitting room for parties.
SWMBO is
happy!
