Spare no expense on tools, it will repay in the long run.
I could have borrowed tools for this from work but they were cheap and
nasty
so I bought my own and yes they are bloody expensive but this HA stuff is
going to go on and on for years so worth it.
I bought mine from www.videk.co.uk item 4161 @ ?17.50 for Krone punch down,
has a cutter and a hook (for removing a cable you just punched down into
the
wrong hole, as if!).
By Brother-in-law used to work for BT and had one of these and it is still
working 15 years down the road!
I bought a "starter" kit from Videk which also included a cable
stripper
tool "Cyclops" which I thought was a bit of a gimmick but it is
very good, I
love it.
Videk are probably not the cheapest but have given me good service, usual
disclaimer:- I do not have any connection.........

I'm looking for a tool to complete the wiring of my living room. My patch
panel has "krone" style pushdowns on it, but the sockets have
"normal"
pushdown on them, ie straight across rather than diagonal.
Is there a tool to do both these or does it mean buying two? Also the ones
I
saw at Netshop were like 15 quid each, there has to be a cheaper source
right?
