I remember that but it was only one ePod and I think the story was that the
owner came back to it after it had been on all day while they'd been out
and
it was just dead ... I think the assumption was that a component (the
voltage regulator for the screen had been mentioned) had overheated and
expired but I don't think anyone ever really investigated.
