Re: A newbie builds a house

Thought of this too at one stage.  In our last house I had a long cable trailing from the bedroom telly which was a bit crap.

But in the end bought a pair of Sennheiser FM cordless ones and they're great, much better than the IR ones too.

I've just been watching a BBC1 ad featuring Sheila Hancock sat in bed
listening to radio/TV on a pair of headphones.

It made me realise that I hadn't considered providing a pair of TV/radio
headphone outputs, with individual volume controls, at the bedhead.
It would be useful when one of you wants to watch a late night film and
the
other falls asleep before the end!
No need to have headphone cables trailing across the room etc..
