Re: Cable Network

You don't even need a "spare" PC Alan.  My work PC is running WinRoute Pro in the background as I use it for all my work apps.

At home I just use Win2K ICS but that is on a dedicated HA PC.

Subject: [ukha_d] Cable Network

Now I have my cable modem working I want to connect it to my house network.
As I see it (not being too well up on networks) two options are available, cable modem router or spare PC running something like WinRoute. The router seems to be the more simple option, what are the pros and cons bearing in mind I want to try what Mark is doing with the wireless gear.
Thanks
Alancc
