I think that we should think carefully about what's said here.

At the moment, this list is the leading information resource for Home
Automaters in the UK (certainly a more useful resource than
comp.home.automation, which I read from 1992-1994 before giving up as
too American - I've been on this list, and its predecessor, since 1998.)

Many of us are "mates" here, but one big problem we have is that
Home
Automation doesn't have any kind of mass-market acceptance, despite the
decision by B&Q to start stocking ;-)

We AREN'T going to help bring new people into HA if this list is too
"blokey". And, over the last few months, there's been a certain
thread
of posts that has become more "Maxim" than "T3".

So, make up your mind before you post. Do you want a list that's a bunch
of mates emailing each other, or do you want a list that's a useful
presentation of the concept of HA to a wider community.
