Hi Folks,

I have been lurking here for a while, and have been both informed and
entertained by you lot, thanks.

I am building a new house next year (assuming all remains well in the
contracting business) and would like to incorporate a reasonable set of
controls and alarms - spent a while trying to design my own, then gave
up and decided that X10 would be easier. I have looked at the US web
sites, and compared them with some UK ones, and as usual, prices don't
compare very well over here: any suggestions for the best/cheapest
source for UK components? I know about the voltage and plug differences
in the uS ,but am planning a trip out there in the next couple of months
- is there anything worth collecting while I'm there?

So many questions, and this is just the start....

Thanks
Martin
