Oh, I had fun with them too. To get the Micromark modulator I got
from Homebase working, it was necessary to rewire the Response camera
plug in order to ground the SCART "Video In Gnd" (pin 17), which
is
unconnected in the cameras I have.

Very pleased with my modified PIR's though. I extracted the CCD
module from a bargain 9.99 b&w camera, and fitted it inside the case
of an existing PIR with just a discrete 3mm hole to enable it to see
it out visible from the outside. Draws power from the PIR, and uses a
spare core in the alarm cable to route the video back to node 0. A
blob of Blue Tack enables the camera to be aimed as required :)
