I'm actually running some junk that came with my web cam (creative) so that is probably killing it. Do you know if the software you use can run any cam or is it specifically for the Axis??

This is running on an ADSL connection, but other than that I haven't done anything.  Have you perhaps

a.  set bandwidth limiting in the camera?

b.  got an older version of the software>

I'd be interested to know how you have got this set-up to work so well. Mine is dead slow - so slow that its quicker for me to drive home than to wait for an update.
