I have mine about 2 1/2 feet up the door frame. At the top of your legs
there is not a noticeable gap assuming you walk forwards through the door.
One day when in a hurry I went through the beam very quickly and HV did not
register me for whatever reason. This could be a problem with more than one
beam and having them close together?
