I agree with Keith ... Convertors generally suck unless you throw large
amounts of money at them. This goes for PC to TV adaptors or standards
convertors alike.

There is a PC running a rolling demo in the reception of my old company and
every time I saw it I used to cringe ... instead of getting a video card
with a TV out (which was my recommendation) someone decided that 1024x768
through a convertor would be good - and then when it looked bad it was
decided that the reason was that there wasn't "enough resolution going
into
it" so it was upped to 1280 x 1024 - the person who decided this now
seems
to be trying to do an "emperors new clothes" scam by saying now
that it
looks so much better!

Run 640 x 480 on a TV out card and it'll look OK.
