And don't you have to re-calibrate if you move
furniture?
Wonder if I brough my laptop case into the
room
then walked out would that be seen as occupied?
Also - lifting carpets etc for wires is far
from
perfect too.
I think we're still a long way off decent,
reliable
occupancy detection.

Yeah, I have heard of these, and I'm familiar with the
claims of their capabilities...
But I have just one or two
problems
with this at the moment:...
1) They are not here! - they are just
vapourware at the moment... 2) I >believe< their effectiveness is
