I don't run a WAP gateway locally, I dial into my network from the WAP
phone, and it picks up the gateway from the Internet via the cable modem at
home (in effect, it means I'm operating in the same way as an ISP, it means
I can also connect to my network, and hence the Internet via a PPC and the
Nokia phone by calling into my "Fax/PC line" at home - Saves
mucking about
with different ISPs).

The only "WAP specific" stuff I've had to do is configure the
MINE types on
the copy of IIS I run at home (and write the WAP pages obviously).

Some of my WAP stuff is accessible via http://wap.zz9.dyndns.org/ if you
want a look BTW (although there's not much there for "public"
access!).

Adam.
