I dont think he said he was bonded.
The 128K number also supports normal ISDN connection.

I believe he said he used the 128K number which is 08457 128000.
This is charged at local rate for 64K or 2x local rate for 128K.

Believing you were using a free number and staying connected for long
periods whilst being charged local rate would soon rack up a large bill.

Local call charges (excluding any discounts)
1 hour daytime Mon-Fri = £2-40
1 hour evening Mon-Fri = £0-90
1 hour weekend all day = £0-60

Just added up the cost of staying connected continuously for 1 WEEK and it
is a staggering £211-80. It makes even Business ADSL sound cheap !!!

Hope you get things sorted John.

Keith

Well normally I'd be amongst the first to BT bash - but I was a bit
confused about John's case.
Surely the router had to be multi-link enabled to bond the two
channels simultaneously? Relying on the ISP to reject bonding
requests so that only one channel is used doesn't seem very sensible.
If this is right then BT can't take all the blame... Or am I barking
up the wrong tree here?

Patrick
