I agree, anyone that works on a live ring main without checking it first
deserves a belt - next time you *KNOW* to check it ;o)

And all X10 product has CE approval - NOT!

Still safe though as far as my experience goes, as well as a bit weird from
time to time!

And UK X10 stuff has passed all the safety standards needed. No problems
with insurance in the event of a fire etc.
