I don't think Mike would feel the same way but ... well, we are all wanting to see a home automation showcase and Mike's pad probably has more kit in it than the show would have! (Anyway ... then we could secretly hunt for those 200 ePods that haven't surfaced yet...)

I have to come clean that booking for the show hasn't caused me any problems because a fellow group member applied for a ticket for me and I'm within driving distance of London but I would say that I will be dubious as to whether this will happen when rearranged for the third time.

A UKHA meet up does sound good though...

I'm on hoiliday.  Downloading 70 odd messages to the laptop via GSM 9600 is PAINFUL! :-)

I got the "good news" last night from Darren Henderson about the HomeTech show.  I got the email later on.  Couple of things to say.

First of all I'm extremely pissed with the organisers.  12 days notice is outragous!

Secondy - as has already been said, who is really going to book for thir THIRD attempt at holding this show.

Lastly - I'm with Keith and the others that have already booked flights, trains, time off work, Gordon Intercontinental etc, so I WILL be going to London.  So guys, what can we organise?

I suggest open day at the home automation meca that is Mike Huggins house :-))

I'm off to lie down in a darkened room!

M.
