Homebase do some cheap (30 quid odd) outdoor lighting kits which
include an LV transformer and six(?) lamps and heavy duty cable.
Comprises four pathway mushrooms and two spots. Well made and good
value for money IMO.

You can buy additional transformers, lights and cables separately
too. One model of transformer includes an integral dusk sensor.
