Phil,
Right, here's a good question for you....
What cable should I use to take an S-Video and a composite signal from the
Yammy A1 to the MT1 projector on the other side of the room, roughly about
10-15 metres to limit degradation in the signal and noise from other
sources
like mains etc.

Myself I would consider unbalanced line level signals only suitable for
sending short distances of 1 - 2 metres tops ... you can go further but
unbalanced cables are likely to pick up interference. Unfortunately
balanced
line hasn't made it into the home audio arena in any big way.
