Hi Phil,

you need to disable local control on the module. I have the details
somewhere but cant find them just at the moment.

what is happening is that after you turn it off, the leakage current for
the
local control is varying as the Switch Mode PSU charges/discharges. The X10
module detects this as you (the PSU) trying to activate local control and
switches on.

The mod involves cutting a link on the board. I have successfully done the
one on my dishwasher. If I can find the diagram I will send you a copy
direct.

Keith

Anyone come across this before...

An appliance module (in this case designated A5) is sent an off command ...
it turns off ... a few seconds later it turns back on again. This is the
same whether I send the off command from my Pronto or directly from a
tabletop controller which is plugged into the adjacent socket (so that
distance isn't a factor). Other appliance modules in the same locale are
not
affected in the same way and I have used HomeVision to log X10 broadcasts
and all I get is the sending of the house and unit code "A5"
followed by an
"off" command.

I've tried several different appliance modules and they all do the same.
I've tried changing the X10 address of the module and it still does the
same.

Unplug the load and it works fine ... so, it has to be something to do with
the load yeah?

Guess what the load is ... it's the damn PSU for the QuadScan again!

Phil
