Ahh Tim ... I asked you to turn it down so that it didn't distract me from
the job in hand - which was checking out the plasma. Tim knows that I have
a
long standing love of the Meridian digital theatre kit and should be
thankful that he "only" has the Meridian processor. If he'd have
had the
full MDT setup then I'd probably have offered to be his slave!
I don't think I've even claimed that the amps in the Yam are world beaters
... in fact Tim and I were both discussing someones previous claims that
the
DSP-A1 amps are of Krell class and I certainly don't think they are but it
is one hell of a good processor and running a set of external power amps on
it is a good upgrade to make ... plus it also gives me my analogue
amplification stages that I'll need when I find a decently priced
secondhand
Meridian 561! (Tim?)
