Title: Re: [ukha_d] EPOD help
I
had
to install 3 files from the ePod site to enable active sync and then hard
reset
to enable. Remove the modem as well otherwise the port is
pinched.
Ian
Is this a new Active Synch install on the Windows
side ?
If not could the serial port connect option be disabled on
the
PC side ? (I think is active by default on a new install).
Perhaps
also
check that no other app has acquired the serial port before active synch
started ?

Finally got round to playing with my EPOD. I seem to
have
a basic, but crucial problem - according the geocities EPOD page I
should be able to active sync, but not install any CE software, using
MS
ActiveSync out-of-the box against a virgin Epod. Unfortunately MS
ActiveSync doesn't see my Epod at all... I know the cable works ok cos
I
can see the EPOD sending "CLIENT" to hyperterminal on the activesync PC
when I click the comms link icon on the Epod. Have any other
epod'ers
seen this kind of behaviour? Am I being
stupid? Thanks Patrick
